An important part of discovering new places is discovering the local cuisine: being surprised again and again by both new flavor combinations and preparation techniques, and ingredients. After all, every country has its own specialties. Whereas I used to make up an excuse to avoid eating the peas and not want to try anything in a hurry, now I am always on the lookout for something new. Times change, shall we say.

Whether it'll be extra spicy sauces or the (sometimes not so) famous coriander, make sure you won't try something you don't like at all.
