Netherlands
Welcome to the Netherlands, my home country! Our little country has more than enough beautiful places to explore. Get to know more about the Dutch culture at the Zaanse Schans, see the tulip fields in full bloom (April) at the Keukenhof and don't forget to get yourself some Dutch snacks as well: Stroopwafel, Dutch cheese, drop.
Zaandam & Zaanse Schans
It can hardly get any more Dutch than in Zaandam. Officially, the Zaanse Schans is a Zaan neighborhood, established in 1963, with several windmills and monumental buildings from the Zaan region. According to scholars, the Zaan region was even the first industrial area in Western Europe. Certainly no lack of history!

Austerlitz Pyramid
Kinderdijk
Kinderdijk is declared as a UNESCO world heritage site for a reason! Even though they are inoperative since 1950, the 19 mills are a beautiful piece of Dutch history.
Tulips!
The most beautiful time of the year for many in the bulb region: the tulip season. Around April, most fields are in full bloom, providing you a perfect scenery for beautiful colourful pictures.
Moerputten bridge!
Located near Den Bosch is this beautiful bridge. Perfect to combine with a visit to Den Bosch, home of the Dutch treat 'Bossche Bol'.
